Suzanne’s Apple Slice Cake

2 pkts butter cake mix

¾ cup coconut

3 tbls butter

Apricot jam or nuts if you want

1 800gram can apple pie

In a bowl rub together coconut & butter with cake mix then press into

 a tray that is at least 2 inches deep bake in oven @ 160deg for about 15

 mins do not brown.

Take out of oven and layer apple pie over base then add jam or nuts or nothing,

mix together cake mix according to directions pour over apple mixture and bake in moderate oven till cooked.

Serve with ice-cream or whipped cream or better yet both.
